BlogHelper.Org

As is obvious from yesterday, I have decided that Sundays will be my off-day from BlogHelper updates, as I like to really clear off my plate so the beginning of my work week starts off slowly.  I will be answering questions throughout the day via e-mail and AIM, but I don’t intend to post, unless I have a bunch of time to devote to an interesting topic.  Anyway, I have received some great questions, although many of them have focused solely on a specific graphics or layout issue.  Ideally, I would like to focus solely on questions related to websites and blogging as a whole, but I have decided to create a section for specific blog platform questions.  It will be more of a simple “how to” format, but it should prove to be helpful.

Keep the questions coming, and be sure to subscribe the full RSS feed to receive the BlogHelper updates automatically.  The post titles will always be the question being asked, or a description of the post’s content, so this site is great for RSS, as you don’t need to read something if it doesn’t interest you.

So, this site has been a long time coming. For quite some time, I have wanted to create a place where bloggers can ask questions, and receive an answer quickly. I finally decided to dedicate some time to this project, as I feel it will provide some invaluable information to everyone that is interested in the world of blogger.

So, how about a little bit about me? (For the slightly more long-winded version, please feel free to check out my About page.) My name is Mike, and I run a small business from home. You may already know me from Stay At Home Dad, Geek Style, which is a personal blog I started a couple of months ago. Anyway, for those of you who know me, or have worked with me in the past, you know that I love to talk about what I know, learn about what I don’t know, and talk shop with people who have similar interests. BlogHelper.org is my place to do all of that.

The advice is free (unless you decide otherwise), and I’m available via e-mail and AIM. For people that want a little bit of “extra” help, I am available via phone, but not always. So, feel free to send over your questions, and you will definitely get a response via e-mail. If your question seems to be exceptionally interesting, it will be posted on here as a Daily Question. I look forward to getting started, so please feel free to shoot me a message when an issue pops up. As I said, you’ll always get a response.
